‘FOUND Again’ review found on the internet >>

alex trails embraces a chilled-out, lovely aesthetic on the shaggy dog storytelling of “FOUND Again.” The lyricism has a quiet celebratory presence, for it takes up the idea of faith and lets it bloom. Jangle-pop, indie rock, and even moments of electronic ambiance appear throughout. His vocals tie the entire thing together and serve as the backbone of the whole album. Every word is chosen with the utmost care, and his delivery adds to the inherent kindness of the atmosphere.

The pop fervor of the sound recalls many different bands, young and old alike. For the old-school approach, the nods to Britpop offer the flair of early Oasis, as they possess that same catchiness. Arrangements greatly expand into the infinite, allowing the songs to overwhelm the listener. alex allows for a conversational tenor to take shape. He expresses gratitude towards the rest of the world, and this hard-fought sense of peace adorns every track.

Drums have giddy energy with the opener, “Heaven Above.” The highlight comes from the confessional “Christian Song,” where he bares his heart to the listener. On “The Test,” he brings a quiet reverence into the fray. He incorporates a childlike sense of wonder with the dreamy-eyed “The One.” Laid-back grooves underpin the nighttime flair of “Ups and Downs.” Beats go for a broken effect on the dusty spirit of “Lord Protect Us.” Guitar strumming has strength as “Starseed” gallops through. “Blue Skies” has a spacious, otherworldly dimension. An expansive, defiant mission statement reigns supreme on the triumphant “Freedom.” Beats bounce off each as “The Valley of Death” takes an entirely different approach, one of optimism. Shuffling through “Better Days” builds up nicely, aiming for the heavens. Drums go for a spry nimbleness with “Other People Glory.” Trip-hop flourishes come into the mix with “SoulStar Fighter.” Pure affection outpours of “Doctors and Nurses (a song for the NHS).” Ending things with a call to action is the humane message of “Help a Brother, Help a Sister (this Xmas).”

“FOUND again” shows off the sheer kindness of alex trails, for he speaks straight from the soul, for the soul.

‘Trying to Spread the Life of Jesus’ review from ‘Further Christian Songs’ found on the internet >>

There is a song on this album that is quite relatable, called “Trying to Spread the Life of Jesus”. The lyrics have an important message about sharing Christ’s life with others. It talks about how hard it can be to tell others about your faith when some people don’t want to hear it.

Alex is an experienced artist from the UK, and he brings a unique view to Christian music. He self-taught himself everything he knows about music too! This song comes straight from Alex’s heart. He wants to connect people who don’t believe in God’s never-ending love.

Talking about Jesus to non-believers isn’t always easy. But Alex reminds us that Jesus is always there for everyone, supporting us wherever we go, and He opens doors when you least expect it. Sharing the gospel of Christ with others is a matter of not giving up, even when we feel discouraged. It’s not about being pushy, but about being prepared to speak when prompted by the Spirit, and taking His lead on how we share it. Plant the seed through your words and example, letting Jesus guide you (and others) to touching hearts and helping the seedling grow.

Have a listen and let Alex’s words inspire you to find your own way of sharing the gospel of Jesus with others. When the time is right, He will help you share His message of faith, hope, and love. You’ve got this – don’t stop trying to spread the good news!
